The warehouse is located in Bosisio Parini (Lc), on the shores of Pusiano Lake in Brianza countryside.
It covers about 16,000 sq.ft. on three floors, and has the ability to hold approximately 8,000 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano cheese.
The building dates back to 1966 and it was specifically designed for the aging of dairy products; it was built with double insulated walls and doors that cut it off from the outside temperature, and it is equipped with air conditioning and forced humidification, both assisted by the right detection instruments.
Since 1986, a robotic machine is working for cleaning and turning wheels during the seasoning.
There are two cold rooms for the storage of fresh cheese and butter.
The upper floor, accessible by an elevator, is equipped for the cutting and the vacuum packaging of cheese.
